State Cannabis Board Says Sorry After Application Mishap

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM )-- A big "oops" from State marijuana regulators.  The Cannabis Control Commission apologizes, after inadvertently approving priority applications for ten businesses that were supposed to be denied.

Steven J .Hoffman, Chairman of the Cannabis Control Board Commission, says the Commission has been racing through applications from prospective marijuana businesses looking for an expedited review. 

He says because of a transcription error, those applications should have been in a batch for denial.  

He calls the mistake unfortunate.
