BROOKLINE (24/7 NewsSource) -- Officials are trying to figure out how someone's pet snake ended up at a popular park where children regularly play.
Brookline Police say a brown and black spotted snake was discovered this morning at Lawton Playground.
Animal control officers took the reptile to the Animal Rescue League of Boston.
The owner is asked to contact Brookline animal control.
