CHELSEA (WBZ-AM) -- Chelsea Police have released more information on the man wanted in the stabbing of a waitress Monday night--and have posted video allegedly showing him taking off from the scene of the crime.
Officers responded to Las Pupusas Del Chino restaurant on Blossom Street around 11 p.m. Monday, where a waitress said she had followed a man outside who refused to pay his bill.
The man then sliced her across the neck and hand with a knife and drove off.
That man has been identified as Geraldo Reyes, and he has been charged with armed assault with intent to murder.
Chelsea Police Captain Keith Houghton believes Reyes is dangerous.
"The circumstances of the incident lead us to believe that he is a danger, that he would attack a female over a bill," Capt. Houghton said.
The victim is now home, recovering after being treated at a local hospital.
Police are asking for the public's help searching for Reyes, who is possibly driving a red Nissan sedan with Colorado plates reading GAQ6A3.
