NEWMARKET, NH (WBZ-AM) -- A family doctor is behind bars. Police arrested Dr. Hugh MacDonald Friday afternoon at his medical office in Newmarket. He's charged with 7 counts of aggravated sexual assault.
Macdonald was brought to Rockingham County Jail after bail was set at $100,000 dollars cash. He's expected to be arraigned on Monday.
Police say MacDonald, who lives in Newfields, was arrested after a month-long investigation.
No other details about the charges have been released.
