Boston Firefighter Arrested For Child Rape

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- A Boston Firefighter is on paid administrative leave from the department.  

He's charged with raping a child over a period of years. Samuel Perez was arraigned today in South Boston Municipal Court,  and ordered locked up on $50,000 dollars cash bail. 

He was also ordered to stay away from any witnesses, and was told to surrender his passport and any firearms he may own.

Boston Police arrested Perez while he was on duty.
