NightSide with Dan Rea – Rundown for May 15, 2018

Where in the World has Geography Class Gone?  In recent years, subjects like geography and civics have had to take a back seat to math, science, and English due to the increase in standardized testing.  But not everyone agrees that this is the right approach.  Bridgewater State University Geography Professors James Hayes-Bohanan and Vernon Domingo sit down with Dan to talk about the current state of geography in our schools, and why it is so crucial that we include it in the curriculum.  What do you think?  Should there be more of an emphasis on geography in our schools?  Call in and join the conversation!

Is Sports Betting Coming to You?  Monday, the Supreme Court cleared the way for states to legalize sports betting, striking down a 1992 federal law that prohibited most states from authorizing sports betting.  If legal, do you plan on betting on the games?  Do you want sports gambling in your state?  Will this lead to bad habits?  Call the show tonight and join the discussion!

Conflict of Interest?  Veteran Washington reporter John Solomon of The Hill says Robert Mueller may have had a conflict of interest in overseeing the Russian election probe.  Tonight, Solomon joins Dan to reveal a possible conflict between Special Council Mueller and an associate of Vladimir Putin.  Listen tonight and join the conversation!
