Woman Climbs Tree To Avoid Pack Of Coyotes

SAUGUS (24/7 NewsSource) -- A woman is being credited with some serious quick thinking.

Saugus Police say they received a call Saturday morning from a woman who was stuck in a tree.

She told them she was walking her dog in Breakheart Reservation when they came across a pack of coyotes.

She jumped up the tree to avoid the wild animals and called 9-1-1.

The victim was eventually safely escorted to her vehicle by responding officers.

There's no word on the dog's status.
