BOSTON (24/7 NewsSource) -- A stolen dog has been safely returned to the Animal Rescue League of Boston.

Officials say a two-year-old pit bull was taken from the shelter on April 11th.

A 55-year-old Boston man reportedly took the dog on a walk, and never returned to pick up his license.

After receiving a tip yesterday, MSPCA officials found "Nick" and took him back to the shelter.

The ARL says the dog is healthy and in good spirits.
