An upstate New York couple has gone to court to get their 30-year-old son to move out of their house after eight years of rent free living. Although his parents have given him five written notices about moving out, the son said that the notes don’t amount to a six-month notice to leave as per Kosa v. Legg, which requires landlords to give tenants a six-month notice. Do you believe parents should evict their children? Should kids be allowed to stay until they’re ready to move out?
