Vigil Held For Teen Killed In Worcester Shooting

WORCESTER (WBZ-AM) -- Friends and family held a vigil for a teenager shot to death over the weekend in Worcester's first fatal shooting in over a year.

They gathered to remember 16-year-old Sidney Krow at a local park where he used to go to play basketball.

Krow was walking home with some other men on Main Street Saturday evening when someone pulled a gun, shot him, got in a car, and took off.

There have been no arrests, and Worcester Police don't yet know what led to the shooting.

Krow's sister spoke with WBZ-TV, and said she's still asking why it happened.

"I just don't understand, like, why it happened," she said. "It didn't have to happen."
