WRENTHAM (24/7 NewsSource/WBZ-AM) -- An arrest has been made in the case of an abandoned litter of kittens. Wrentham Police arrested Alex T. Rodriguez this week on five counts of animal cruelty.
The 32-year-old North Easton man is accused of leaving five kittens on the side of I-495 in a crate. The month-old kittens were found suffering from heat exhaustion inside the hot crate. Officials say the kittens are now alright, and numerous people have come forward to adopt them.
Wrentham Police said that, shortly after they posted about the kittens being found, several people recognized the kittens and came forward with information.
