Former Co-Owner of Everett Casino Site Says He Was Cheated

Wynn Casino Boston Harbor

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- The seller of the Everett casino land is claiming Wynn Resorts cheated him out of $18 million dollars -- now he's taking his claim to Federal Court.

Anthony Aattineri claims Wynn Resorts agreed to pay him $18-million dollars on the side in a handshake deal to get the sale done and to gain approval for a gaming license

In court documents field in Boston Federal Court,  Gattineri  says the mass gaming commission would only agree to the license  if the land be sold at market value  of $35 million rather than the premium price  he wanted.

Claims the mass gaming commission had concerns over concealed ownership of the Everett casino site land  and "who" might be profiting

The gaming commission is only saying that it is aware of the lawsuit and its legal department is reviewing the case

Encore Boston Harbor Casino spokesperson Greg John disputes the claims.

Attempts to reach Gattineri for comment at the time this story aired on WBZ NewsRadio1030 have been unsuccessful.
