BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) – Earlier Wednesday Protesters gathered outside the State House to speak out against the Trump administration's immigration policy which has separated thousands of migrant children from their relatives along the southern U.S., border.
They made some noise as hundreds packed the hallways of the State House chanting
“No hate! No fear! Immigrants are welcome here!”
Sarah, a protester among the group, was carrying her 4-month-old son as she walked the halls of the statehouse along with other parents and children.
“It’s outrageous…And to know that’s it’s happening to mothers and their children it’s an act against humanity,” she said.
Governor Charlie Baker did not come out of his office to meet the protesters. But prior to the gathering, he told reporters that he believes the trump administration’s policy is cruel and inhumane.
