EAST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - The former head of an assisted living facility in Connecticut has been accused of stealing drugs from a resident's apartment.Authorities say Barbara Camillo is due in court Wednesday on charges including burglary, larceny and possession of a controlled substance.

Camillo was the former executive director of Village at Mariner's Point in East Haven. It was not immediately known if she had retained an attorney.Police say the resident set up a hidden camera after becoming suspicious that someone was stealing from her while she was at doctor appointments.

Police say Camillo was seen on camera rummaging through personal belongings, apparently in search of prescription Oxycodone pills. The senior living center says Camillo no longer works there and its highest priority is the health and security of its residents.
