BOSTON (24/7 NewsSource) -- A 58-year-old man is accused of nearly striking several people, including two police officers, outside Fenway Park. Boston Police say John Jumper was speeding down Brookline Avenue around 11 p.m. Wednesday night when he reached a traffic jam and allegedly rode up onto the sidewalk.
When officers tried to stop him outside the baseball field, Jumper almost hit the officers and nearby pedestrians. The SUV took off towards Brookline, where authorities finally caught the vehicle. Jumper has been charged with OUI for the seventh time.
