BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Service on the MBTA Green Line's E branch is suspended through Friday due to track problems, the organization said Wednesday night. Shuttle buses will replace trains going between the Brigham Circle, Fenwood Road, Mission Park, Riverway, Back of the Hill, and Heath Street stops.

The broken rail is near the intersection of Huntington Avenue and South Huntington Avenue. The MBTA said it will need extensive effort to fix due to the condition and location. The location may also cause delays for drivers in the area as repairs are being made.

Tyrone, who usually rides the bus anyway, told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Ben Parker this work is an inconvenience for those who travel through this area.

"It concerns me, not too much because of a lot of people being on the bus," he said. "It would be a concern because it is more crowded, but the Green Line is very important out here on the Huntington Ave section."
