BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- With e-cigarettes becoming increasingly popular among young people, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health wants those young people and their parents to know about the dangers of e-cigs--so they've started a public information campaign.

The latest public health information shows that nearly half of Massachusetts high school students have tried e-cigs at least once.

The state DPH has set up a website with more information at getoutraged.org. The page includes information about nicotine addiction and the harmful additive chemicals in e-cigarettes.
