FOXBORO (WBZ-AM) -- A woman was killed in a crash on I-95 in Foxboro early Friday morning, Massachusetts State Police said.
The woman's black sedan hit the guardrail on I-95 Southbound after Exit 8, sending the guardrail through the car. First responders had to cut away the roof of her car to get her out.
Medflight hovered overhead, but it was waved away, and the woman was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where she later died. As the car was taken away on a flatbed truck, a section of guardrail still extended out the shattered car window.
