REVERE (WBZ-AM) -- You can always hear the ocean here at Revere Beach, but you can't always see this--some of the best sand sculptors on the planet crafting over a dozen elaborate creations.
The International Sand Sculpting Festival, with live bands, food trucks, and events for kids, kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday, with fireworks set for 9 p.m. Saturday. A full schedule of events can be found here on the event's website.
"It's just the talent is what I can't believe," one woman from Somerville told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens. "I'm amazed."
