BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) - Boston Police say that 3-year-old boy was killed and a 4-year-old girl injured in a pedestrian crash in South Boston on Wednesday afternoon.
The car accident happened at the intersection of L and East 6th streets shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Boston Police, a woman was pushing a stroller on the sidewalk at the time of the crash. One of the vehicles hit a stroller striking the two children who were siblings.

Boston Police Commissioner Bill Evans says that the cause of the crash remains under investigation and that no one left the scene. He called it a tragedy pointing out because it was a street sweeping day, there were no parked cars along the sidewalk that could have acted as a barrier.
Susan Dublin who lives in the neighborhood, witnessed the crash and says she will never forget what she saw. "Just seeing a child on the sidewalk, was just...devastating for everybody to know that could happen when going out for a walk," she said.
