CAMBRIDGE (24/7 NewsSource) -- Cambridge and Somerville are ordering the scooter sharing company Bird to fly out of town until they obtain permits to operate.
Bird scooters began appearing on the streets of Cambridge and Somerville last month. Officials from both cities have ordered Bird to remove the scooters from the streets until either permits or authorization is granted. In Somerville, officials say any scooters found on the streets after Friday will be confiscated.
