Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe says the assistant district attorney who handled the OUI case of Mickey A. Riveira prior to the crash in Cotuit this weekend, that killed both Riveira and new father Kevin Quinn, did so improperly. Rivera was accused of driving drunk in Hyannis and even though he already faced charges related to a 2015 slaying, was released without bail. The D.A. says the guy was new on the job and did not have Riveira's record. But Dan asks does this matter? Wouldn't Riveira have been out on the streets anyway given the bail laws in the Commonwealth?
