NightSide with Dan Rea – Rundown for August 9, 2018

Pledge to What?  A charter school in Atlanta will not be reciting the Pledge of Allegiance as part of their mornings this year.  Instead the student will create their own school pledge that will focus on the students’ civic responsibility to their school, family, community, country and global society.  Should schools create their own pledges?  Do you believe that schools should still recite the Pledge of Allegiance?  Call the show tonight and voice your opinion!

Dennis Walters Joins the Show!  Dennis Walters had the dream to play on the PGA Tour until he had an accident in 1974 that left him paralyzed from the waist down.  Now Dennis travels the country doing trick shots with his dog Bucky for “The Dennis Walters Golf Show,” which is a combination of golf and life lessons.  Dan will be joined tonight by Dennis to discuss his journey and upcoming shows in the area.  Join the conversation!

Relieving Pain for Everybody.  Dr. David Hanscom is an orthopedic surgeon but he believes that surgery should be the absolute last resort for those dealing with chronic pain.  Tonight, he sits down with Dan to discuss how pain not only impacts patients but also their families.  Call in with your questions or comments and be a part of the show!
