Boston, MA (WBZ-AM)-- Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island are under a flash flood watch with periodic rain bursts already putting roads in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Peabody and Lynn under water.
Both Memorial and Storrow Drive experienced flooding this morning with the underpass to the Longfellow Bridge filling up and River Road in Cambridge overflowing.
According to the National Weather Service pockets of torrential rainfall are expected to continue through the day.
