SALISBURY (WBZ-AM) -- Salisbury Police are investigating after multiple shots were fired at a High Street home overnight.
Officers were called to the home shortly after 11 p.m. when residents said the home was struck by several stray bullets. Nobody was injured. Police determined that the shots came from the street, and found 15 9mm shell casings there.
One neighbor told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Kendall Buhl said it was scary when the shots rang out, but expressed surprise that anyone would target the home on a quiet street. Police don't have a motive for the shooting.
In a release, Salisbury Police said they believe the shooting was an isolated incident, and that there is "no imminent threat or danger to the public." If anyone has any information about the shooting, they are asked to call Salisbury Detectives at 978-465-3121.
