WATCH: Singing BPD Officers Take Stage With Brad Paisley

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Two Boston Police officers known for their viral video singing "God Bless America" took to the stage with a country music star over the weekend.

Just like everyone else, singer Brad Paisley saw the video of Officers Kim Tavares and Stephen McNulty belting out "God Bless America" in their patrol car on July 4.

But Paisley decided to let them sing in front of his crowd at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield Saturday night--and you can watch the video from the concert above.

"Let's let them do it in front of a big, Boston audience here," he said, before letting them do the rest.

Officer Tavares told WBZ-TV the pair was surprised to receive all the attention.

"We went out for a couple of hours and did what we do, and the next day, it was like, wow," she said.

Officer McNulty has been on plenty of calls over the years, but told WBZ-TV it was quite an honor to get this call.

"To get rewarded by an invite from somebody you're a fan of, it was cool," he said.
