NightSide with Dan Rea – Rundown for August 14, 2018

Rewarding Bad Behavior?  Monday, a GoFundMe page was setup by the "Friends of Special Agent Peter Strzok” to raise $150,000 for the fired FBI agent’s legal costs and lost income.  Because that sum was reached so quickly, the target amount has now been raised to $500,000.  Dan will be joined by Hans von Spakovsky of the Heritage Foundation to discuss Strzok’s GoFundMe page.  Do you believe people should be giving money to help Strzok’s costs?  Does this promote bad behavior?  Call the show and join the conversation!

Low Bail for Violent Offenders.  On Monday, a state judge in New Mexico set a $20,000 bail for five defendants arrested at a remote New Mexico compound where authorities say children were being trained in firearm use.  Tonight, Dan will discuss the New Mexico compound judge that has a history of issuing low bail to violent offenders and take your calls!
