State Firefighters Head West To Battle Wildfires

BOSTON (24/7 NewsSource) -- A team of Massachusetts firefighters is headed out west to help battle wildfires.

The 20-member crew is joining other firefighters in Montana to help protect structures and build fire breaks. Governor Charlie Baker says the state has some of the most talented and well qualified firefighters in the country. He also says the state has a long history of national and international cooperation in battling wildfires.
