WORCESTER, MA (24/7 NewsSource) -- Worcester city councilors are pledging due diligence regarding the move of the Pawtucket Red Sox from Rhode Island to a stadium to be built near Kelley Square.
During a meeting Tuesday night council members said they want to make sure the deal is in Worcester's best interests.
The first of two public hearings to be held by the City Council's Economic Development Committee is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. next Tuesday at Crompton Collective in the Canal District.
