BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM, 24/7 NewsSource) -- A North Attleboro man is facing federal charges for allegedly participating in a lie and buy gun purchase scheme.
Prosecutors say Brian Watkins represented himself as the purchaser of a pistol from a licensed gun dealer.
However, Watkins was allegedly buying the gun for another person during the transaction in March. Watkins is charged with making a false statement during a firearms purchase, and was arraigned in Boston federal court Tuesday.
