WASHINGTON, D.C (WBZ-AM/24/7 News Source ) -- The nation's capital will bid farewell to the late Senator John McCain Friday . McCain's body will lie in state in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, and Congressional leaders will hold a ceremony after his casket arrives.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Speaker Paul Ryan and Vice President Mike Pence will make remarks. President Trump will not be at the ceremony.
The public will be allowed to pay their respects between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at the U.S. Naval Academy Cemetery in Annapolis on Sunday.
