WINCHESTER, Mass. (AP) — A 4-year-old boy was revived after being pulled unconscious from the water of a Massachusetts lake.
Authorities say a doctor and an off-duty police officer, who happened to be at the beach, performed CPR on the child after he was taken from the water at Upper Mystic Lake in Winchester at about 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Fire officials say no life guards were on duty at the time.
They say the boy was breathing and alert when taken to Boston hospital. His condition has not been released.
