REVERE (24/7 NewsSource/WBZ-AM) -- The cause of a five-alarm fire that displaced more than 100 residents of a condo complex in Revere Sunday is under investigation.
Flames erupted around 1:30 p.m. in the 4-story, 36-unit building at 10 Franklin Avenue. Four firefighters were reportedly treated for heat exhaustion and smoke inhalation. There were no other reported injuries.
Crews fought the fire well into the evening. Authorities say the building may be a total loss, but still need to determine its structural stability.
Revere Police and Fire, as well as State Police assigned to the Office of the State Fire Marshal, are investigating. The fire is not considered suspicious.
