Celtics Healthy, Excited For New Season

Celtics will open training camp with a pair of practices Tuesday, two more Wednesday, then their first preseason game Friday.

Coach Brad Stevens met the media at the C's annual golf tournament yesterday and said his group's healthy.

"Last I heard, we should have everybody full-go starting on Tuesday," he said. "Everybody that's been here has been playing five on five, and been doing so and been looking good."

That includes Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, and Daniel Theis. Injuries ended their seasons last year.

"As we've been in our staff meetings the last couple of days, the biggest takeaway when you go back and watch all the film is there's a lot to do, and a very limited amount of time to do it," Stevens said. "The exciting part is, we should have a full group of guys healthy and ready to go--and the tough part is, we know that we've got a lot to cover in a short amount of time. It does help that we

Good thing.

Stevens said Hayward looks as good as new as well, but he's not expecting anyone to exceed 25 minutes in a game during the exhibitions.
