MEDFORD, MA (WBZ-AM) – Love is in the air and off the air in the newsroom at WBZ NewsRadio1030.
Three of our colleagues are going to Italy for their honeymoon at the same time!
Producer/Weekend Editor Sarah Barnacle, plans on tying the knot to her fiancée Mike his weekend, Digital Content Manager Rony Camille and his wife Jenn got married in May and Traffic Producer Arthur Burns and his wife Anna were married in June.
WBZ NewsRadio1030’s Laurie Kirby spoke to the Camille and Barnacle about the small world romantic coincidence.
Both say that it may not really be a random coincidence but more to do that all are going after the peak of the busy travel season.

“It’s crazy that all we got the time off that we all able to celebrate something significant in our lives. In terms of faith..eh I think ticket prices had a lot to do with that,” Barnacle said.
“I would agree, I will second that, “Camille said “you know the idea of going out to dinner was brought up, I think we joked that we would open up a WBZ NewsRadio1030 Bureau in Italy and never return but I think we are going to plan a dinner and play it by ear,” Camille said.
Burns said that that he’s is excited at the prospect at running into his co-workers and enjoying authentic Italian foods on the streets of Rome.
