BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- If you're trying to by a Charlie Card using a debit or credit card you might want to bring cash.
Fare vending machines are currently not accepting debit or credit cards at all kiosks across the MBTA lines in the city.
Passengers can only add value or purchase new charlie cards with cash at the moment. The MBTA says it apologizes for the inconvenience and is working to fix the issue.
