BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) -- The Red Sox split their double-dip with the Orioles Wednesday, and there were plenty of encouraging performances. But, there was some ugly ones, too.

Chris Sale - not so good in Wednesday's Red Sox loss to the Orioles in the night-cap of their double-header. But, Alex Cora isn't concerned about the team's Game 1 playoff starter.

He believes he'll find his mechanics again and get that velocity was back up.

"We saw a few 94's and the.  the fourth inning I want to say. The velocity wasn't great the....but after that he got a few swings and misses and change up was ok," Cora said. "Hopefully he finds his mechanics again and he will be ready to go," he said.

Craig Kimbrel had four runs on, three walks in a third of an inning.

So, three games left before the playoffs. Second second starts in a week. Cora says he feels that their team is in a good spot.

"I know where we at physically...I think we are in a good spot," Cora said.

WBZ NewsRadio1030's Adam Kauffman ( @AdamMKaufman ) reports.
