BOSTON (AP) — Boston police are investigating two fatal shootings, and an arrest has been made in connection with one of the killings.
Officers responding to a call in the Mattapan neighborhood at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday found a man, believed to be in his early 40s, with gunshot wounds. The victim was later pronounced dead at a hospital. No arrests have been reported and police are urging anyone with information to contact the homicide division.
Hours earlier, police say they arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of a gas station attendant in the city's Dorchester neighborhood. The victim of the late Saturday night shooting was a man in his 60s and police say that incident remains under active investigation as well.
