NAHANT (WBZ-AM) -- Right next to Kelly Greens golf course in Nahant is a 275-square-foot tiny house overlooking the ocean--and according to Town Administrator Tony Barletta, it gets its power from an unusual source.
"The tiny house runs on a biofuel blend, and its energized by recycled coffee grounds--so it's an environmentally friendly structure," Barletta told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens.
The tiny house was previously on display in Times Square in New York City. It'll be in Nahant until the middle of November--and you can rent it on AirBnB here.
Barletta said the home is there to highlight the possibilities of green energy.
"We're happy to have it here in town to showcase the beauty that we have in Nahant," he said.
