BROCKTON (WBZ-AM) -- Police in Brockton are looking into what's being called an officer-involved shooting on Court Street.
The Brockton Enterprise reports officials responded to the call of a man with a knife just before 12:30 p.m. Friday. According to a witness, the suspect was allegedly chasing the officer with the knife and refused to stop.
The paper reports the officer then shot the suspect. It's not clear how seriously the suspect was hurt. Reports say the officer wasn't injured.
There's no word of any IDs or a motive for the attack.
