BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) - Officials with the National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado touched down in Lincoln, RI Tuesday afternoon after severe weather passed through the area.
Severe tornado and severe thunderstorm warning were issued for portions of Rhode Island and Southeastern and Central Massachusetts.

The storms made their way towards Boston early Tuesday evening forcing all attendees at Fenway Park for Game 1 of the MLB World Series to seek shelter.
