SANDWICH, MA (WBZ-AM) -- The lights are out for approximately 3,800 customers across the Commonwealth after strong storms raced through Tuesday afternoon. Dan Corey was jogging along the Cape Cod Canal in Sandwich and witnessed a waterspout form over the water.
He tells WBZ NewsRadio1030 that it was sunny when he started on his daily run then the weather quickly changed and the cloud lowered to about 20 feet over his head.
In the video below posted on Twitter, you can see a the waterspout form and coming closer to the shore.

"It was intense you can feel the air pressure drop, i've never seen anything like that before," he said.
Possible tornadoes were also reported in North Providence and Lincoln, Rhode Island.
