Slippery Tracks Lead To MBTA Commuter Rail Delays

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- Commuter rail riders struggled with delayed trains Monday morining. The cause? Slippery tracks.

Heavy rain and wind over the weekend left piles of wet, slippery leaves all over train tracks.

There were delays of between five and 40 minutes on multiple lines, including Framingham-Worcester, Middleboro-Lakeville, Lowell, and the Newburyport-Rockport line.
