NEEDHAM, MA (WBZ-AM) — Gubernatorial candidate Jay Gonzalez started his day Tuesday at the corner of Hillside Avenue and West Street in Needham greeting supporters and shaking hands with voters.

“It’s been a long campaign and the momentum keeps building,” Gonzalez said.

Despite what recent polls suggest he believes the momentum is on his side, especially after his last debate with Gov. Charlie Baker.

“I hear from lots of people that the debates made a difference for them. I think they clearly showed the choice in this election between a status quo governor and someone who is going to work every day to make a difference for working families,” Gonzalez said.
