BOSTON (WBZ-AM) — Celtics are the favorites to represent the East in the NBA Finals this summer after falling minutes short of reaching their goal last year, and Jaylen Brown's confident his guys will do it.
“People misconstrue confidence and arrogance,” Brown said. “I’m not being arrogant … We’ve got the mindset of a champion. It think that’s where it starts.”
Brown sat down with Taylor Rooks for a feature for Bleacher Report. Rooks asked him how many titles he believes he will win by the time he is 28.
“I’m not going to jinx myself, but in six years I’m going to go ahead and say five or six [titles],” Brown said.
Celtics are 6-4 after a 0-2 start to their road trip. They will visit the Suns Thursday.
