HOLBROOK, MA (WBZ-AM) — An airborne car crashed through the roof of a home in Holbrook early Sunday morning.

The driver of the vehicle lost control and the car became airborne, destroying a utility pole and crashing through the roof of a home at the intersection of Kingsley Street and Abington Road.

A passenger in the car, 20-year-old Nicole Ricci, died during the crash. The male driver and another male passenger were taken to the hospital.

Resident Michelle Carter has lived in the house her entire life. She currently lives there with her sister and daughter. No one was home when the crash happened.

“I walked around the house and saw the car literally through my dining room window, half with just the bumper sticking out,” Carter said. “It was crushed in half.”

The force of the impact knocked an entire window out of a wall of the house.
