Parallels Between ICE and KKK? Thursday, Senator Kamala Harris compared the immigration law enforcement ICE to the Ku Klux Klan at a hearing to confirm President Trump’s nominee to run ICE.  While speaking to Ronald Vitiello, the acting director of ICE, she asked if he was aware of the perception of similarities between ICE and the KKK.  Do you believe ICE has a similar perception to the KKK?  Will comments like these help or hurt Harris in her possible presidential run?  Call the show and join the conversation!

ACLU Sues BPD.  In order to access the Boston Police Department’s gang database, the ACLU of Massachusetts is suing the department.  The civil right group says allegations of gang involvement are being used against Central American youth in immigration court and they need to look into the database to gauge the accuracy.  Dan discusses the lawsuit and takes your calls!

Recreational Marijuana Stores to Open Tuesday.  The Cannabis Control Commission announced on Friday that the first marijuana retailers will open in Leicester and Northampton on Tuesday.  Commission chairman Steven Hoffman said “This signal to open retail marijuana establishments marks a major milestone for voters who approved legal, adult-use cannabis in our state.”  Dan discusses the announce and wants to know your opinion!
