BOSTON (WBZ-AM) — Patriots receiver Julian Edelman discussed his history with concussions during his appearance on the "Matty in the Morning Show" on Kiss 108 Thursday.
Concussions are an ongoing issue in the NFL and Edelman added to that conversation when asked how he bounces back from big hits.
“I think, generally, over the years your body gets callused and it gets used to getting hit. That’s how it goes,” Edelman said. “You put so much time and effort with your nutrition and your training and all that stuff, and it all comes full circle so you can take those types of hits. Sometimes you get up and there’s sometimes where — you can’t really say this — but there could be a couple of tweety birds above you. You just got to shake them off.”
