NightSide with Dan Rea – Rundown for November 27, 2018

Commissioner Gross vs. The ACLU. Boston Police Commissioner William Gross denounced the American Civil Liberty Union on Facebook over the weekend, calling the organization “paper warriors.”  These comments come after a lawsuit recently filed a by the ACLU accusing Boston police officers of unfairly labeling Central American teenagers as gang members.  The organization’s executive director responded by saying Gross is trying “to divert attention from the serious issues raised by an ACLU lawsuit.”  Should Gross speak so openly?  Do you believe in this lawsuit?  Call the show and join the discussion!

The Southern Border. On Sunday, hundreds of migrants on the Mexican side of the border attempted to over overwhelm police blockades near the Ysido Port of Entry.  Tear gas was used by the officers to hold back the large group of people, which included mothers and children.  How did border patrol handle the situation?  Should the border be open?  What is the most humane way to deal with the border crisis?  Call the show with your opinion!
