BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) — Transit Police say a Dorchester man allegedly assaulted a 13- year-old girl at the Ashmont T Station.
They say the girl was selling cookies to raise money for the Humane Society, when Mark Hurd, 51, allegedly approached her and started asking questions about the cookies.
Officials say -- moments later -- he indecently assaulted the girl.
Hurd was arrested on Wednesday. a judge set his bail at $500 and ordered him to stay away from the victim.
